From Their Majesties; Forwarded via the tri-marshall's list

Greetings Good Gentles,

The time has come for the forces of Asgard and the Wardogs of Cerberus to gather their allies upon the field to settle their differences. The following format has been decided as the means upon which the day will be decided.

Open Field Battles:

Open field battles will run for approximately two hours. Sides will form at 10am and will begin immediately. Each battle will be to the last man and then each side will form immediately and the layon called as soon as possible. Attrition will count for the field battles so the side who maintains their forces will have the advantage over time. Each field battle will be worth one point. (Upon Their Majesties whim, there may be as many as 15 open field battles)

Bridge battles:

There will be three to five bridges (depending on the number of fighters). Troops may not leave the bridges until two thirds of the bridges (two of three or three of five) are fully held (fully held means that troops are completely across but not outside of the bridge limits) by one side or the other. Once two thirds of the bridges are held then troops may sally forth to attack the rear of the opponent. The bridge battles will be to the last man and count as one point. (Upon Their Majesties whim, there may be as many as 15 bridge battles)

Resurrection Battle:

The resurrection battle will be a timed battle fitting Their Majesties schedule. Directly after the bridge battles, each side will form their troops and allies to begin the battle. Each side will attempt to capture and hold a number of flags (appropriate to the number of troops on the field). At timed intervals the side holding most flags will be awarded one point per flag. Once again, attrition will play a major factor.

These battles are subject to change according to Their Majesties wishes.
