I. Seneschal Report

a. Read minutes from June 22nd

i. Unanimously passed to accept

b. Largo Library

i. Need volunteers for Friday, July 29th

ii. Set up for Gala on the 30th

c. Call for Bids for Caravanserai

i. Need a bid this month!

d. Shire Supplies

i. A couple of the plastic boxes are missing (and an empty one is in their place!) Please see if you have kept them by mistake

i. Has been checked with the Kingdom Exchecquer

ii. We can pay for it as supplies if we do a class (casting)

iii. Then can pay Thomas back the $100

iv. After the class can do whatever we want with the results

1. start at 10am and go to 4pm

2. She could use some volunteers to spell them

1. Get together tomorrow night at Leonidas and Columella’s house to finish tokens

1. Need volunteers for 8-10am to direct parking

II. Officer Reports

a. Marshal – not present, Leonidas reporting

i. No practice last week due to Hurricane Dennis

ii. This Saturday there is some question if there is practice – Fernando had emailed the group saying that there would be – but Res Musica is this weekend. Leonidas said he would contact Nando and check – Leonidas has suggested that our fighters go to the Wyvernwoode practice on Sunday instead.

b. Art/Sci – not present

i. Reminded to patronize Artisans Row at XXth year

ii. July 20th – Midsummer Nights Prep

c. Chronicler – Serakh

i. Supplement for Waterspout given out

ii. Deadline for the regular issue of Waterspout is the end of the month (July 31st)

iii. Discussed changing financial policy – should it be more specific as to when the alternate signatories can sign? It currently says that they can sign when needed.

1. After discussion was decided that Richard would come up with wording and present it at the next meeting

a. Artorius brought up working on awards

i. Last we new Warjna was working on drawing them up

ii. Richard will contact her to find out status

iii. Maybe committee needs to get together again???
